HGI Invites You to Meet
Rosalie Calvert,
Mistress of Riversdale Plantation

History will come alive as actress Mary Ann Jung helps us relive the drama of life during the War of 1812, describing for us the
Battle of Bladensburg, the burning of Washington,
the creation of The Star-Spangled Banner,
and the day-to-day details of running a Maryland plantation.

Please join us for an evening of entertainment and insight during this final year of the War of 1812 commemoration.

Tuesday, May 13, 2014
7:30 pm
The Historic Emory Grove Hotel

This living history presentation is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. The program is made possible through the generosity of the Maryland Humanities Council and
the War of 1812 Commission.
