About HGI

Originally a committee within the Glyndon Community Association, HGI was formally organized in 1972 as an outgrowth of the Glyndon Centennial. It continues to work to "safeguard the heritage of Baltimore County and in particular the community of Glyndon by preserving the elements of its cultural, social, economic, and architectural history to foster civic beauty and to promote use and preservation of local landmarks of the community for the education of the citizens ofBaltimore County and Glyndon."
